“Here in Dubai now. The goal remains the same, I’m not stopping here because I’ve come a long way from coaching on red sand to pitches with no cones, a goal post pole in Kaduna, one ball to train 25 players, to Lagos and now here. UEFA License Pro is the target as I need to be able to align myself globally,” Ayere told Sports247.
“This is just a step in the right direction. There are bigger things to come, I’m still much hungry. The dream is also to enlighten young coaches in Nigeria to see how big they can become without sticking with the norm in the country,” he added.
Ayere Sylvester has also been confirmed as an assistant coach of senior league side Fleetwood FC as he made his journey from Nigeria to Dubai.
Fleetwood FC plays in the third division in Dubai, topping the table with three games to go which will see the get promoted to the second division in their first year of participation.
