The Nigeria Football Federation has announced that it has reached an agreement with German tactician, Bruno Labbadia, to become the Head Coach of Nigeria’s Senior Men National Team, Super Eagles, Sports247 reports .
In a tweet on Tuesday morning via the X handle the Nigeria Football Federation broke the new s, the tweet quoted the Secretary General of the NFF that the appointment is with immediate effect.
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said in the early hours of Tuesday: “The NFF Executive Committee has approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development Sub-Committee to appoint Mr. Bruno Labbadia as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles.
However, no details about his contract duration, remuneration or targets were revealed in the tweet.
The Super Eagles have been without a coach since Finidi George left the post vacant after he took over from Jose Peseiro after the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast earlier in the year.
The Super Eagles will begin AFCON 2025 qualifier against Benin Republic on September 7 in Uyo and Play Rwanda three days later in Kigali second match of the series.
