Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau has emerged as the elected president of Nigeria Football Federation NFF.
The presidential election took place in Benin, Edo state, Gusau polled 21 votes but failed to meet the 50 percent of the total votes.
Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi polled 12 votes as Peterside Idah and Abba Yola had one vote each.
While the electoral committee declared run off between Gusau and Akinwunmi following the inability of Gusau to meet the 50 percent total votes.
In a bid to conduct run off between Gusau and Akinwunmi the Lagos State FA boss, Sheu Dikko and Abba Yola addressed the delegates and announced their withdrawal from the race.
Peterside Idah who polled one vote refused to step down as he contested with Gusau in the run off election.
At the end of the run off election, Gusau polled 39,while Peterside Idah polled one vote.
