Assistant coach of Nigeria’s boxing contingent to the fast approaching Youth Olympic Games in Argentina, Peace Epia has promised that the team is fully ready to win medals for the country in the event.
Epia told Sports247.ng shortly before departure on Tuesday that the coaching crew have done everything needed to be done to get the girls in top shape.
“The Pugilists are fully ready to make our country proud in Nigeria. This is so because the athletes have worked so hard for the competition and want to write their names in Gold,” a motivated Peace Epie remarked to Sports247.ng.
“The coaches have done their best to put the boxers in shape for the journey ahead of them. They have the luxury of training with some of the best coaches in the country.”
“I expect them to deliver on their promises at the games which starts this weekend. They won’t disappoint in competition.”
