Box2Box FC returned to winning ways in the MD 6 of the 2021 Fusion Football Championship with a convincing 2-0 win over Jumez International FC.
After drawing their previous three games, Box2Box are now temporarily top of the league table on 12 points after victory against Jumez Intl.
Post-match, Box2Box FC coach Randy Reuben spoke with Sports247. He said:
“It has been a rough period with some tough games. Like in three games we played draw due to one or two injuries in the team and the fitting in of new players. But it is good to get back to winning ways, to win by two goals and be back on top of the table. It is very good. I’m happy for the boys.
“I am going for the league. To be top of the league, to be the champions, that’s my target.”
Reuben also spoke on Box2Box’s rivalry with G12 Football Club and hopes to get the better of them when the two sides meet again.
“I know them [G12 FC] they know us. We almost play the same pattern. Hopefully, we are going to come strong anytime we meet again. Maybe the in the Super 4. We are looking forward to playing them again and to wipe their ass.”
