Blessing Ogundiran Shines in NCAA Outdoor Debut, Wins 100m Heat at USF Alumni Invitational

Purdue Blessing Ogundiran made an impressive start to her NCAA outdoor track and field career, winning her 100m heat at the USF Alumni Invitational with a time of 11.39s (2.6).

Ogundiran’s performance placed her second overall across all sections, with Azariyah Bryant clocking the fastest time of the day at 11.32s in another heat.

In the same race as Ogundiran, fellow Nigerian sprinter Elo Blessing Okpah finished third with a time of 11.46s, rounding out a competitive field.

The strong start to the outdoor season highlights Ogundiran’s potential as she continues to develop under Purdue’s track and field program.

With this performance, she has set a high standard for the rest of the season, positioning herself as one to watch in collegiate sprinting.
