Blessed Stars Football Academy today visited Anikan Orphanage in Eket Local Government of Akwa Ibom State in the company of Charles Etim (U-17 National team player), the entire management of the team and the players to visit the orphanage.
While on the visit to celebrate Saint Valentine’s Day at the orphanage today, Blessed Stars Academy alongside Charles Etim who just returned from the U-17 World cup through his academy donated several buckets of paints to help repaint the buildings. The team expressed its joy to share and celebrate Valentine’s day with the young orphans in Eket.
In a statement by the management represented by its Business Development Manager, John Oku, he said: “We are happy to be here today to show these young ones that there’s still so much love that can be given to them, we will not stop here today but will always come back more frequently to celebrate and have fun at this orphanage because it stands to represent what Blessed Stars believes in.”
Blessed Stars visited the orphanage with several gifts items including cartons of noodles, a bag of rice, a bag of beans, toiletries and also a cash donation to the orphanage. Charles Etim in a statement said he would come back to the orphanage on his next visit to make renovation and provide state of the art learning equipment.
