Legend and Nigeria’s number 1 table tennis player, Aruna Quadri will lead the table tennis team to the 2022 Common Wealth games to be played in Birmingham.
The Common Wealth games, tagged Birmingham 2022 will kick start July 28 and end August 8, 2022.
According to a tweet from the official handle of the International Table Tennis Federation – ITTF Africa, 8 table tennis states will represent Nigeria at the games.
To lead Team Nigeria’s table tennis squad will be world number 11 and Africa’s number 1 table tennis player, Aruna Quadri.
The 33-year-old will should be responsible for other stars including reigning African champion, Omotayo Olajide, Edem offing, and Bode Abiodun.
With the experienced hands on deck, they will help guide and guard the debutant quadruplets of Fatimo Bello, Amadi Omeh, Esther Oribamise, and Ajoke Ojomu at the games.
Team Nigeria will also have other top athletes like Ese Brume, Tobi Amusan, and Ebuka Enekwechi on their list for the Common Wealth.
