Plateau United reportedly interviewed close to 20 coaches applications, a little over a week after parting ways with Kennedy Boboye.
The management of the Peace Boys appear desperate to fill the space created by the decision to let Boboye off the hook and have since held several consultations.
Despite not publicly inviting applications, the club’s Secretariat was flooded with top class coaches in the country, reports Sports247.ng.
“Close to 20 applications was received, “the identities of the coaches cannot go public at the moment,” the source said to Sports247.ng.
Sports247.ng scooped from the insiders that Abdu Maikaba and Rafael Everton are front runners for the job.
The management are understood to favour the appointment of someone who understands the Northern culture before giving him the job.
