Abdullahi Usman Biffo, Technical Adviser kwara United football club, A sport guru who has traveled home and abroad has promised to embark on grassroot sports development in kwara state
It was a colourful occasion in today’s meeting at Ansarudeen Islamic Primary school kuntu, in Ilorin west local government area, where sports Masters across the schools local government area converged to receive the kwara United’s Technical Adviser, the man who knows the in and out of Nigeria football
The august visitor, promised to embark on football development by spearheading and initiating competitions in the local government, he says “we can’t get it right, until will go back to the grassroot and catch the young”
“I am ready to give back to my society through football development, therefore I declare operation back to primary schools to discover talents and norture them for a better future”
The Kwara United’s Technical Adviser challenged all the game Masters to be more committed and dedicated in order to achieve reasonable goal in building solid future for our children, “am appealing to individuals to let’s work together and make this year’s editions of Ilorin west primary schools football competition among the pupils great and better off”
“I am ready to shoulder all the responsibilities and to encourage all the participating schools, the pupils and their parents in order to give room in encouraging their children in sports development”
Biffo appealed to kwara state government to put sports facilities and suitable environment as one of the conditions to approve schools in kwara state.
“I thanks kwara state government for giving hope and bright future to our children through good education and sports, I also challenge all parents to allow their children to participate in sporting activities in schools”
“I solicit private sector partnership, individual organisations, politicians, NGOs and well meaning individuals in the society to participate in giving back to the society through sports development, this will surely help in building hope and good future for our children. it will also control crime rate in the society, such as rape, drug addition, cultism, bad gangs, arm robbery etc”
“Sport is wealth and health, it brings lot of money and make us healthy, sports is a must for each and everyone, only that the way we do it is different, for instance brushing our teeth, dancing, doing domestic house job, cooking, even talking is more or less sports as well”
“Lastly, I thank each and everyone present in today’s meeting and I promise to make myself available at any necessary time, I also assure that, this edition of the competitions will be one of the best ever in the history of Ilorin west primary schools football championship by God’s grace”
“Lot’s of award to motivate our winner is awaiting, we will surely encourage them through kind and cash rewards and even scholarship is inclusive” says Biffo, kwara United’s Technical Adviser.
