Abdullahi Biffo has confirmed his departure at Kwara United after three seasons and wished the Harmony Boys success in their CAF Confederations Cup campaign.
The experienced football gaffer is leaving Kwara United as a hero due to the fact that the Harmony Boys picked continental ticket under him after 11 years they last played on the continent.
Biffo before the end of the outgone season had health issues and had to travel to the United States for medical treatment where he was until the end of the term.
In his absence, Lukman Ijaiya and Mukaila Iyala took charge and finished the season as 4th best on the final NPFL standings.
“I am happy that we picked the continental ticket and I want to appreciate everyone for the supports, criticism and love which helped us succeed.
“I want to appreciate the management for their trust in me in the last 3 years and also my players for the dedication and commitment. Thank you Kwarans.” Biffo explained.
In his 3-term stint at Kwara United, Abdullahi Biffo did not lose any home game in the NPFL and also emerged as the coach with the highest number of away wins in a season which is 4.
Meanwhile, the management under Kumbi Titiloye are preparing to name Audu Azeez Muhammed as the new coach of Kwara United.
The former Katsina United gaffer has been on ground since Biffo traveled to US and his contributions in the back rooms helped Kwara United finish 4th.
