In the coming months, football in Nigeria, particularly, at the grassroots, is set to witness somewhat a revolution.
Bhollad football club, a Lagos based non- league side founded 10 months ago, were quickly off the marks by making their intent known with a series friendly games played across different states in South- West Nigeria in readiness for the new season.
Head coach of the team, Abiola Oladipupo, disclosed that the team currently boasts of having in its credit pouch, an impressive record of 22 wins, two draws and a loss in 25 games played so far.
” We want to take the Nigerian football scene by storm. We have embark upon a football revolution to set a benchmark for Nigerian football, particularly, from the grassroots,” Oladipupo, a former Sunshine Stars of Akure and Sharks of Port Harcourt forward stated.
He disclosed further that the team is set to go on a playing tour of neighbouring West African countries in the next few weeks.
