Beyond Limits Onyebuchi Obasi has couped the Creative League top goal scorer golden boot award as he lauds the team management for their incredible support to achieve such feat.
Chinedu Obasi is not a striker but an attacking midfielder who picked the golden boot award with 11 goals to his name.
Silent killer, gentle and calm on and off the football pitch and hailed as a very close player in the model of Zinedine Zidane in terms of passes, creativity and what have you, he has it all in his arsenal.
It wasn’t surprising that his team Beyond Limit emerged champions of the Creative League with clinical player leading their lines.
When asked in an interview with Sports247.ng after receiving his award, Obasi allayed his passion for football.
“When I was down with injury, it was like hell but when I returned, I doubted myself and how soon I can be able to get back to the best form of my performance.”
“But with the help of my coach and the chairman, they made me believe that injury can’t stop my potentials. I summoned courage, put in the hardwork and I was able to achieve this with the help of the team.
“Receiving the top goal scorer award is so fulfilling and overwhelming and this isn’t time to stop or relax, but to be more and give more for the team.”
