Beyond Limits Football Academy has arrived in Sweden to compete in the prestigious Gothia Cup, often referred to as the “World Youth Cup.” This marks another significant milestone in their impressive journey this year.
Beyond Limits is set to compete against some of the best youth teams from around the globe, showcasing their talent on an international stage.
The academy is placed in a challenging group alongside IFK Göteborg, Rosenborg Ballklub, and GIF Sundsvall. Their fixtures are as follows:
– Monday, July 15, 2024: GIF Sundsvall vs. Beyond Limits at 10:00 AM
– Tuesday, July 16, 2024: Beyond Limits vs. Rosenborg Ballklub at 10:30 AM
– Wednesday, July 17, 2024: Beyond Limits vs. IFK Göteborg at 4:20 PM
Beyond Limits has had a remarkable year leading up to the Gothia Cup, known for their robust development programs and several notable accomplishments. The academy clinched the title in the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season, earning promotion to the Nigeria top flight league, NPFL, for the upcoming season. Their dominance was further demonstrated by winning both The Creative Championship League and The Creative Championship Cup.
