In a post-match interview with Sports 247, Ganiyu shared his excitement and reflected on the significance of their achievement.

“It means a lot to me. You know when you are pushing for something and not getting it at the right time, you keep going. So it means a lot. Whatever you are doing, just keep on doing it,” he said.

The final match saw Beyond Limits leading 2-1. However, Sporting Lagos managed to equalize, pushing the game into a nail-biting penalty shootout.

Ganiyu revealed his mindset during this tense moment: “I was very positive right from the beginning of the game till the end, very positive. I knew that something strong was going to come out of the game, I knew we were going to win.”

Winning the Creative Championship Cup for the first time as captain was a deeply emotional experience for Ganiyu.

“I am so happy and I think it is hard work. It means a lot to me; I can’t express it, the way I am feeling right now but I know it means a lot to me,” he added.

Reflecting on the season and his personal goals, Ganiyu affirmed that the team met their objectives.

“Yes. In TCC, I think, as a team, we met our target,” he said. As for his ambitions, Ganiyu remains focused on his future:
