However, Coach Olumide Ajibolade noted that the win didn’t come easy and that his players were fatigued, especially after fielding an unchanged lineup from a previous cup game midweek.
During a post-match interview with Sports247, Coach Ajibolade provided insights into the team’s performance and the challenges they faced in the match against Dannaz FC.
The coach recognized the difficulty of the game and attributed some of it to player fatigue. He pointed out that fielding the same starting lineup for two consecutive games led to noticeable tiredness in his players. However, Beyond Limits managed to take the lead in the match’s first half, although Dannaz FC continued to put up a fight.
According to Coach Ajibolade, the match could be divided into two distinct halves. The first half saw Beyond Limits leading, but during the second half, they struggled to increase their lead. Despite these challenges, they managed to secure the victory and three crucial points in the league.
“It was a difficult game and I think that fielding an unchanged in level from the cup game midweek, I could see some fatigue in the boys. However, we were able to put our noses in front, and in the first half, Dannaz kept fighting. It was a game of two halves.
It was a difficult second half where we struggled to increase the lead. Overall, I think that it was important that we could see the game off and get three points.” Coach Olumide said
Previously, Beyond Limits had demonstrated their ability to score numerous goals. When questioned about the shift in their goal-scoring performance in just a few days, Coach Ajibolade attributed it to the mentioned fatigue.

He noted that it’s essential for players to perform well both when they are fresh and when they are not. He emphasized that these players are preparing for professional football and must adapt to the physical and mental demands they’ll face.
Regarding their upcoming games in the NNL (Nigeria National League) starting on November 11th, Coach Ajibolade didn’t specifically address conceding goals.
He highlighted the team’s approach of looking at each game as unique and adapting accordingly. He stressed that every match provides a learning opportunity, and their primary goal is player development and improvement, irrespective of the competition they participate in.
“NNL, and TCC, are all competitions we aim to improve the players with. So, we always look at each game in its uniqueness and adapt to it. We are not going to be specific on any. At the end of the day, it’s a football match and the players must learn, adapt, compete and ultimately, they must improve.” Coach Olumide ended.
