Soccer followers across the length and breadth of the country are bound to be thrilled with attractive displays by Beyond Limit FA of Ikenne next season in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
This assurance was given by the newly promoted club’s coach, Olumide Ajibolade, who affirmed that he not only targets victory in football matches but he also wants to get it done in grand style and excite the fans.

With that target in mind. Ajibolade promised to roll out ‘watchable football’ to captivate fans at various stadiums, but he equally admitted that the decision on whether they will compete or not in the NPFL depends on the club’s management.
Speculation is already going around that Beyond Limit are ineligible to compete in the NPFL, due to the presence of their owner, Kunle Soname’s other club, Remo Stars, in the same division.
However, Coach Olumide is not allowing that debate becloud his enthusiasm for captivating displays by his players next season in the NPFL, even as he gave plaudits to the NNL board for organising a flawless season.
“The organisation was beautiful,” he began and expatiated, “It was fantastic. No abandoned fixtures, safety in the venues, and fair officiating. We won three away games in the season, which is a bit unheard of in the Nigerian space.
“Largely, I am glad that my players were able to compete. I’m glad that the management gave us all we needed and the organisers thought it would be proper that they should be fair.
“We all saw that, when it is fair, quality will always emerge.”
Coach Olumide then shot a look into the forthcoming season and promised dazzling games from his team if they do eventually end up using their promotion slot in the NPFL.
“It’s not in my hands to say we will compete next season in the NPFL or not. We’ve got the ticket and we’ll take a decision when we get back to our base.
“But, someone may ask: is it good for Nigerian football that we will be there? Yes, absolutely. We are going to feature the youngest squad in the division.
“We are going to play attractive football that you will love to watch. Not football to win only. We want to win matches, but we want you to enjoy watching it.
“We will give watchable value. We will bring people to the stands and we will keep them on their feet. That is what football should be about.
“Where’s the marketing side of it? What’s the kind of football we play? Who do we attract? How do we get sponsors in? Those are questions all clubs should be answering.
“That’s what we can guarantee the NPFL when we step in for the new season,” Ajibolade emphasised
