Arierhi, a standout performer for the academy, is set to join the Nigerian U-20 team as they aim to defend their title at the tournament, which also serves as a qualifier for the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The tournament, running from October 17 to 31, will see Nigeria face tough competition in Group B against Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.
Flying Eagles coach Aliyu Zubairu emphasized the team’s mission to secure a spot in the U-20 AFCON and restore Nigeria’s dominance in age-grade football.
With the team currently in its final preparation stages at the Remo Sports Institute in Ogun State, Zubairu expressed confidence in the squad’s readiness to deliver.
For Beyond Limit, Arierhi’s achievement underscores their commitment to developing future stars. The academy’s management expressed excitement about his progress, seeing his call-up as a testament to the quality of their youth setup.
“We are incredibly proud of Kparobo and his dedication. His journey from the academy to the national team reflects the hard work put in by our coaches and players alike,” the academy noted in a statement.
As Nigeria gears up for the tournament, Arierhi’s performances will be closely watched, with hopes high that he will make a significant impact on the continental stage.
