In a bid to have a full house ahead of the BETWGB Lagos FA Cup finals, the Organisers said they have thrown the gate of Onikan stadium open to football fans and other relevant stakeholders who are planning to watch the closing ceremony of the biggest football competition in the state.
The much anticipated Lagos FA Cup finals would hold on Sunday at the newly refurbished Onikan stadium.
In the final of the female category, FC Robo Queens would face Dannaz Ladies by 1 pm, while Ottasolo battle Dannaz FC in the male category by 3 pm.
Akeem Rabiu-Okikioposu, Secretary of Lagos State Football Association LSFA confirmed that the association is expecting a full house and urged the football fans, coaches, club owners, players, and other relevant stakeholders to come and watch the exciting Lagos FA Cup finals.
“We want to use this medium to inform the football fans and other stakeholders that there is no plan to give tickets to anybody at the gate. We want more fans to come and cheer their favorite team to victory. if you want to come, you would be allowed to come in without asking to pay for a ticket at the stadium gate,” he said.
Akeem also admonished the fans to comport themselves throughout the finals saying that any fan foment trouble would be handed over to security officers.
“We are appealing to our fans to shun vices that can affect the finals because the state FA would not condone any act of hooliganism before during and after the game.I wish all the finalists all the best in their outings,” he concluded.
