Olodi Warriors Sport Academy ran out 3-0 winners over Anglican Egba FC in the ongoing Ogun State League. The league is part of the development to show the committment of the Governor of the state, Dapo Abiodun’s interest in Sports.
Speaking to Sports247, Sunday Michael of Olodi Warriors expressed his delight at playing in the competition.
“It’s a nice experience, it’s good exposure for us. We come out here as a team to play football, we get instruction from our coaches and we apply them on the pitch. It’s a good way to go,” the attacker said
The players also hoped to give his best in the competition and maybe claim the title which the winner is not cast in stone yet but hopefully they can get it even as he continues to set targets for himself as he loves challenges because his role model is someone who has broken bounds.
“I consider Cristiano Ronaldo my role model and I look up to him. He’s such a hard-working player and in Nigeria here, we need to work hard before achieving our dreams,” Michael said.
