The national chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club Rev Samuel Ikpea has congratulated the new sworn in Board of the Delta State Football Association following the election conducted at the indoor sports complex of the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
In an exclusive interview with Topsportsafrik, Ikpea said he his delighted to see the successful conduct of the election after the lingering crisis hindering sports in Delta state.
“Congratulations to Mr. Ken Nwamucha and the new board. Ken had been an active member and national Elder of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club and I am happy to see that a successful FA election was finally conducted in Delta state”.
“The crises over leadership tussle has so much affected the progress of football activities in the state”.
” I hope this election that follows due process will put an end to the many crises and another state should as well follow suit and harmonize for the progress of the game because football speaks one language”.

Ken Nwamucha defeated Micheal Aniemeka with 26 to 1 vote to the emerged winner of the Delta state FA election.
