Former Mighty Jets of Jos and Super Eagles attacker Benedict Akwuegbu says Jude Odion Ighalo is still needed in the Nigerian national team.
The ‘Austrian Bomber’ says Ighalo needed to be in the Super eagles Team for the young players to learn from him.
He made this disclosure while answering questions on Whatsapp platform LGN.
A member of the Golden Eaglets team that represented Nigeria in the FIFA under-17 world cup in Scotland 89, Akwuegbu confessed that the present Super Eagles squad is better than the one hebplayed with back then.
He regretted not playing more games for the Super Eagles.
As a former chieftain of Mighty Jets of Jos, he called on the organisers of the Nigeria National League to do more in the area of officiating in other to improve the League.
