After a thrilling first round in Kwara, the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) is back for round two. The teams continue their quest for glory. And if the drama we saw in the State of Harmony is anything to go by, then we are in for a treat in Kebbi State.
Defending Champions Kebbi Fishers BSC and 1st runners up Kada BSC ended their first round campaign as group leaders. With both clubs being pushed to penalties and extra time respectively by tough opponents. The gap between the top teams and new entrants like Kelme Galaxy BSC, Nmanko Patigi BSC, Kogi BSC and Niger BSC is narrowing.
This Season’s excitement has been spiced up by the return of Ex-Nigeria International Isiaka Olawale and Super Sand Eagles Captain Victor Tale to the sand. Both legends are leading a team of youngsters to compete for the championship.
Three clubs are tightly contesting for second place in both Group A and B. With just a single point separating 2nd, 3rd and 4th places in Group A, and two points between 2nd and 4th in Group B. As the battle for the Super 4 Finals continues, there will be A-class entertainment with dazzling skills, enthusiastic fans and goals galore in Birnin Kebbi.
