Double Eviction and the First Strikes
The week started with a shock: the first double solo eviction of the season, sending Ben and Chizoba home.
Biggie also issued the first strikes to Handi, Kassia, Shaun, and Wanni for discussing nominations and conspiring, breaking the house rules.
In an interesting twist, housemates had diary sessions where they acted as Biggie, revealing tensions, especially between Nelly and Wanni.
Sooj’s Hat-Trick of Wins
Despite the tension, housemates secured a hat-trick of wager wins. Under Sooj’s leadership, they triumphed in their third consecutive wager, themed “Face Your Fears.”
Their short film “No Guard Lost,” directed by Onyeka, touched on serious issues like suicide and sexual abuse, moving viewers deeply. This, combined with a stunning red carpet-show, ensured their victory.
Ship Drama and Reconciliation
Ship drama was inevitable. Nelly and Sooj had multiple disagreements, mainly sparked by Nelly’s jealousy over Sooj chatting with Victoria at the pool party.
Meanwhile, Anita and Topher had a spat after Topher’s comment, “Make everybody come here with brain,” was taken personally by Anita, leading Topher to scramble to make amends.
Sooj’s tenure as HoH saw more tension when Shaun refused to attend a diary session until he had showered.
Wanni further accused Sooj of being distant and assigning Shaun kitchen duty, which he disliked.
However, the week ended on a positive note with besties Onyeka and Ozee reconciling after their fallout.
Food Woes and Ninja Shenanigans
Food drama continued as housemates complained about missing meals. Nelly’s yam pottage vanished after the pool party, and Handi raised concerns about Wanni giving Shaun extra meat.
Kellyrae faced rumours of giving Kassia extra portions whenever he cooked.
Biggie’s ninjas added to the chaos by raiding the house and taking both cooked food and meals still being prepared.
They later returned with cans of whipped cream, spraying the housemates in a hilarious twist.
Punishments and Surprises
Several housemates faced a gruelling two-hour punishment of standing inside hula hoops for not following Biggie’s instructions.
Just when they thought the week couldn’t get crazier, they woke up to a trashed garden, a reminder that Biggie always has surprises up his sleeve.
From strikes and evictions to a stunning hat-trick of wins, week eight in Biggie’s house was nothing short of explosive.
Stay tuned for more drama and surprises as the competition heats up!
