BBNaija Season 9 Update: Kellyrae Crowned Winner of Big Brother ‘No Loose Guard’

After 70 intense days in the house, Kellyrae has been declared the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, titled No Loose Guard.

He entered the house with his wife, Kassia, disguised as best friends, a strategy that kept audiences guessing and engaged throughout the season.

Reflecting on his unconventional approach, Kellyrae remarked, “Having to lie that your wife is your friend is probably the biggest lie I’ve told in my life,” just before being crowned the ultimate winner.

Upon hearing the announcement from host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Kellyrae expressed his excitement by jumping up and down on stage before embracing his wife, lifting her in joy.

Prize Package
Kellyrae walks away with a staggering 60 million Naira in cash, a brand new Innoson car, and additional prizes, solidifying his status as a multi-millionaire in Nigeria.

A Tough Ride
Throughout the season, fans responded positively to the DoubleKay storyline, choosing to support Kellyrae despite his less-than-stellar popularity among housemates.

He faced six nominations during his time in the House but managed to survive each round.

His breakthrough came when he became Head of House two weeks before the finale, which allowed him a direct pass to the final stage of the game.

This moment was particularly significant as he spent his birthday in the position of Head of House, even as Kassia was evicted that same day.

During his final diary session, Kellyrae described his experience in the Big Brother house as amazing, enlightening, and beautiful.

He expressed his aspirations for the prize money, indicating that he looks forward to helping others and being a great father. Biggie humorously noted that this means Big Brother will soon be a big uncle.

Last Man Standing
As the finale unfolded, Kellyrae witnessed his fellow finalists being eliminated one by one until he was the last contestant remaining.

The elimination rounds saw Sooj, Anita, Ozee, and Nelly exit the game, leading to a final showdown between Kellyrae and Wanni.

Interestingly, Wanni was the last person to nominate Kellyrae, suggesting she recognized his strength in the competition.

Ultimately, Kellyrae triumphed, emerging as the last man standing among 26 contestants.

Kellyrae’s victory reflects not only his strategic gameplay but also the strong fan support that propelled him through the competition.

As a newly crowned champion, he joins the ranks of previous BBNaija winners, ready to make his mark beyond the house.
