He explained that the penalty was awarded when a player was stripped from behind, which he believed was a valid call. “I think it’s a good penalty,” he asserted.
The coach attributed the team’s success to hard work and divine intervention. “We’ve been working very hard, very hard. It is God and hard work that pays,” he said. He encouraged his team to see the victory as a dividend of their hard work and urged them to continue in the same vein.
