Bayelsa United Set To Pay Debts Owed Players

Following the outcry of the players of Bayelsa United over its unpaid outstanding bonuses by the management of the team, the Bayelsa State Chapter of Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, has reacted swiftly to the unsavoury situation.

A delegation of PFAN in the state led by the Secretary met with the Permanent Secretary of Bayelsa State Ministry of Sports, to discuss the issues. And the Permanent Secretary promised that the bonus issues would be taken care of as soon as possible.

However, the Bayelsa State PFAN Chairman, Barrister Rumson Baribote, is scheduled  to meet with the board of Bayelsa United FC, on their return from their away trip to Nasarawa United FC.
