Bayelsa Queens Football Club proudly presented its roster of talented players for the upcoming 2023/2024 NWFL Premiership season.

The unveiling ceremony, held at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on October 20, 2023, was a significant event for the club and its supporters.
Among the newly unveiled players who will don the revered Bayelsa Queens crest are Edeh Loveth, Fubiana Okeinaye Briggs, Jennifer Oliver, Favour Dagogo, Rose Ekong, Dooshima Tarnum, Yemisi Samuel, and Mabel Effiom.
Club Chairman, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, addressed the crowd, expressing his ambitious vision for the club: “We’re already thinking here about winning the League.
That’s the big dream now for all of us who are united by this universal allegiance that is Bayelsa Queens.
We’re working hard to achieve it and once again accomplish something that, to many, may appear to be impossible.
We’ve got a great squad. Several of our players have achieved a new feat in the history of the game.”
Pastor Apreala’s passion and determination for the club’s success shone through as he emphasized the rich history and achievements of Bayelsa Queens, inspiring the newly recruited players to carry on the legacy.

Edeh Loveth, speaking on behalf of her fellow players, expressed their excitement and determination: “Bayelsa Queens Football Club is the greatest female club in Nigeria.
We are really happy to be here and starting our story with Bayelsa Queens, the greatest female club in Nigeria. We are going to work hard to help the team continue winning trophies.”
Additionally, Angela Michael was named the new Captain of the club, a role that comes with great responsibility and leadership. The future looks bright for Bayelsa Queens, with a dedicated team ready to take on the challenges and pursue victory in the upcoming season.
