Cameroonian international goalkeeper, Ange Gabrielle Bawou has lifted the lid on her arrival since arriving at Yenagoa based club, Bayelsa Queens admitting that they have been treating her well, operating as a one big family which helps her to perform well.
Gabrielle who was the MOTM in thier 2-0 much needed victory against TP Mazembe was instrumental to the bounce back pulling strings of massive saves to deny the Congolese outfit as she credits the team’s effort and winning mentality for the award.
When asked about the reception and treatment since joining the Nigerian champions in 2021, the Cameroon international had nothing but positive remarks about Domo Okara’s led side.
“The Bayelsa Queens team is a family. As soon as you sign you become part of this family,” she said.
“I was very welcome in this team. They have team spirit, group spirit. That’s why my performances are good because I feel comfortable in this team.”
An highly anticipated final group match against Wadi Delga is up next for the Nigerian champions which is a must win tie is set to take place at the Stade Moulay Hassan in Rabat, Morroco on Nov.6.
