“It’s another tough one. We played them last week, and you saw the result. So it’s a tough one, but we’re up for challenges,” Bassey said. He added, “We knew this would be a hard place to come from, and I felt like we dealt with it well. We tried to take the sting out of the fans early on and control the game, and I felt like we created enough to probably win it in the 90 and then 120, but I’m just pleased with the boys.”

Reflecting on the season as a whole, he noted, “We take each game as it comes, and it’s been an amazing season.” His comments display the team’s commitment to improving with every match, despite the tough competition they face.

Bassey’s leadership and focus have been vital for his team, and his positive outlook bodes well as they aim to maintain their winning momentum. With high expectations and a drive to succeed, the team is determined to deliver their best performance and shine in what promises to be a thrilling quarter-final encounter.
