The newly appointed Goalkeepers’ Coach of the Nigerian Under 15 National Team, Olatunji Baruwa has appreciated the leadership of Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for considering him worthy of national assignment bestowed on him.
The Osun United goalkeepers’ trainer, in a letter of appreciation lauded the NFF to have tried their best to select capable hands to handle various positions of the national teams and promised to work harmoniously with other crew members to fish out talented players that will rise to the international limelight in the nearest future.
The former Lobi Stars shotstopper appreciated the management of Osun United led by Chief Ademola Adesina, the club’s Coaching crew, Osun Ministry of Youths and Sports particularly the Special Adviser to Governor on Youth and Sports, Aremo Gboyega Adelabu, family, friends and colleagues who all prayed for the inclusion of his name among the lucky ones.

I thank the NFF, Osun United Management and Coaching Crew, Osun Ministry of Youth and Sports, my family, friends and well wishers for their support and prayers. I assure the NFF of my complete loyalty and dedication and to contribute my quota to the country’s sports development in line with the aims of the federation.”
“As I appreciate the past and present Prime FC players and all coaches I have worked with at the local and national levels, I also pray God to grant my mentor and benefactor, Late Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi eternal rest and be with his family and friends,” submitted the former Crown FC goalkeeper.
It would be recalled that Olatunji Baruwa was appointed by NFF on Friday, September 25, 2020 as a goalkeeper’s coach of the National Under 15 team that will be tutored by Coach Haruna Usman Ilerika.
