Barcelona have completed the signing of Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala on a three-year deal after a successful loan spell in Spain, Sports247 report.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool striker joined Barcelona on an initial loan deal for six months from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian – where she netted 23 goals and lifted the Chinese Women League.
Since moving to the Spanish side in the winter transfer, the three-time African Women Footballer of the Year winner has scored eight goals in eleven matches – which includes a consolation goal in the UEFA Champions League final defeat against Lyon in Budapest.
“Asisat Oshoala and FC Barcelona are to sign a new contract that ties the player to the Catalan club until 30 June 2022, following the agreement for the Nigerian international to be transferred to the club from Chinese side Dalian Quanjian,” the club announced on their website.
The 24-year-old is currently in camp with the Super Falcons preparing for the FIFA Women World Cup in France.
