Barcelona will play Chelsea on Sunday in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in Ullevi, Sweden.
The Spaniards suffered a 4-1 UWCL final defeat to Lyon in 2019 with Asisat Oshoala scoring Barca’s late consolation goal in that encounter.
The Blaugranas were eliminated by Wolfsburg in the semi-finals of last year’s edition but has gone a step further this time around where they’ll meet Chelsea in the final.
Ahead of Sunday’s clash, the Nigerian international insists that the team have learned from that defeat to Lyon two years ago.
“We played in the final in 2019, we lost and then we picked up corrections from there,” Oshoala told the media.
“Come May 16, against Chelsea, I don’t think we’re going to make the same mistakes again, because we already learned from the past. We are a better team now than we were two years ago.”
“You just have to expect the proper normal Barca game, the proper Barca style.”
The 26-year-old who has four goals in this year’s competition envisions an entertaining game from both teams.
“I think it’s going to be a very, very interesting one because both teams have top stars around the world. It’s not going to be a boring match, I promise.”
