In a chat with RSFCPRESS, he said the most important thing for a goalkeeper is to keep a clean sheet and not concede a goal during a match and he will keep working towards achieving that feat.
“Its a pleasure for me to have kept a clean sheet in our first game against Lamray United FC, I tried my best to ensure that I didn’t conced, though it wasn’t easy and I have to also thank my defenders because they assisted in ensuring we don’t concede goals.”
“The most important thing for a goalkeeper is to keep a clean sheet. A clean sheet is when you don’t concede a goal during a match and that is where I want to focus my attention on helping the team achieve greatness.”
“Whenever I get the nod to keep for my team, I will ensure I do it with all diligence because that is my core area and I will always ensure to keep clean sheets in all my games because I know nothing is impossible.”
“If given the chance to stand in goal against J. Atete FC on Sunday, I will push to extend my clean sheet record because I have started and I need to extend it, I know it might not be easy but I will do everything within my reach to achieve it.” Kayode Bankole.
