With the recent proposed system by NFF to the FIFA et CAF incentive distribution to concerned beneficiaries, Bamidele Olusanya, managing director of Broadcity FC in the Surulere Regional League (SRL) has lauded the Sports body approach as it gives the platform for transparency and accountability to the world governing football body and the public.
Bamidele posited in an online chat with Sports247.ng that the palliative will definitely sort the minimal needs of beneficiaries of the largesse regardless of how small each body, organization, club receive.
He explained,” If NFF can go by the proposed plan on the FIFA, CAF incentives, there are lots of grassroots teams that will be beneficiary of this and will keep them up. This will help in development of players and talents.”
“This incentive is not meant to be heavily relied upon as it should deliberately provoke commitment to the growth of developing teams, we will definitely produce good quality home grown players who can represent us locally and globally if there are more investments and allocations as this,” he concluded.
