Chairman of Katsina United, Aminu Balele Kurfi says the bond within the team is what has made the club not to be engulfed in unnecessary controversy.
Before Lobi Stars were declared as champions in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), the Changi Boys were in the top eight of the log. The team has also qualified for the semi final of the 2018 Aiteo Cup.
“The club (Katsina United) has done well in 2018 because of unity and bond within the team. This is because the management has made it a family affair,” Balele told Sports247.ng.
“Katsina United is a modest club with ambition. We have been able to manage our resources to the fullest. The team is under the management of sound technocrats.”
“We were decent in the last NPFL season and are already through to the semifinal of the Aiteo Cup.
Balele praised the staff and management for that discipline and enthused that the coming season will even be more successful.
“All these wouldn’t have been possible without the work ethics and professionalism exhibited by the staff and management of Katsina United.”
“Next season will be better than what we have done so far. We are determined to achieve our objectives,” the administrator added.
