The new president of National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers (NANPF), Tijani Babangida has declared that adequate welfare and comfort of players will be his main focus.
‘TJ’ assured in an interview with sports247.ng that his primary concern as NANPF’s new president is how to ensure that players at club and national team levels get the best treatment from their officials.
“My primary target will have to do with players’ welfare,” said the Super Eagles’ 1998 FIFA World Cup star.
“I also want peace to reign in the football sector, so that there will be unity among all stakeholders.
“That’s why I will try to bring everybody into the new train that we have put in motion, so that we can set the ball rolling and achieve more.”
