The Management, Technical Crew, Staff and players of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, Mr Oyeleye Oyekunle, the Acting General of the club, has joined the football fraternity to condole with the Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan and the family of the late ex international , Babalade Ajibade, whose untimely death occured in the odd hours of Friday 4th August, 2020.
The astute administrator described as saddening and shocking, the death of the Ex 3sc and Super Eagles defender and a great loss to the football community.
” This year has been very challenging for us as a family – the football family has lost many souls this year. As pathetic and heart breaking as it is, we can’t blame God because His acts are unquestionable. His demise is painful but we still thank God.
” My heartfelt condolences to the Oluyole Warriors family and the families and friends of the late Babalade Ajibade. The lord will grant him eternal rest and those he left behind the fortitude to bear this irrepairable loss”, the acting boss said.
Kunde, as the deceased was fondly called during his football playing days, was one of the finest defenders in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
He had remarkable stands with 3sc and the Super Eagles before plying his trade at Abidjan, LG Club in South Korea, SK Sturm Graz in Austria, Raham FC in India and later became the Team Manager of 3sc from 2008 to 2016.
May the soul of Kunde rest well with the Lord.
