Baba Ganaru Leaves Lobi Stars FC After Three Weeks

Mohammed Baba Ganaru has left Lobi Stars just after three weeks of his appointment was announced, Sports247 reports.

Lobi Stars season have been problematic has results on the pitch has not been in their favour.

The poor return of result have seen them used three different coaches before Baba Ganaru was announced three weeks ago after the exit of former Super Eagles player, Daniel Amokachi.

A close source to the former Akwa United coach confirmed that the coach never signed a contract with Lobi Stars but he is only there for the three weeks in a supervisory capacity.

Lobi Stars lost three of their last five matches which includes the 1-0 loss to Ikorodu City FC last weekend which really made their relegation struggle move from bad to worse while Baba Ganaru lasted on the job.

With the premature exit of Baba Ganaru, Lobi Stars will be looking to announce the fifth coach for the season of which the team have only 23 points in 28 games.

The incoming manager have a mountain to climb as the coach might need to win more than 6 of the remaining 10 games before they can dream of escaping relegation.
