The draws ceremony of the Baale Oki Challenge Cup would hold on 14, October at the palace of the traditional ruler, High Chief Adedayo Badeyemo Oki (Baale Oki Kingdom).
Chairman organizing Committee, Badiru Azeez Olawale made this known to Sports247 early today in Lagos.
Olawale disclosed that many clubs in various categories turned up for the much-anticipated competition and urged some club owners to complete their registration forms before the closing date.
“Honestly I am impressed with the number of clubs that came for their registration forms. This is to tell you that our tourney has come of age. Don’t forget that the competition is sponsored by a traditional ruler and it makes many club owners show interest in our competition,” he said.
The tournament has various categories from U-10,13,15, female and free age. All matches would be played at Oki Primary School, Alaguntan, Iyana-Ipaja, Alimosho, Lagos.
Olawale also revealed that the cup donor, Baale Oki has thrown his support to the competition and urged the participating teams to play the game according to the rules and regulations.
