Super Falcons have begun their preparation for the 14th edition of the Africa Women Nations Cup billed to be played between 2nd July and 23rd July 2022.
AWCON 2022 is hosted by Morocco and will see 12 teams compete for the biggest trophy of women’s football in Africa.
The Super Falcons led by Randy Waldrum opened their camp today in Abuja as they begin a 2 weeks warm-up to the tournament.
13 players opened the camp today including the captain, Onome Ebi, star strikers, Asisat Oshoala and Rashidat Ajibade, and NWFL star, Monday Gift as the team will have its first training at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja today by 4 pm.
The Super Falcons begin their AWCON quest against South Africa on 4th July 2022 by 6 pm Nigerian time.
