Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters club has congratulated Dr Mohammed Sanusi on his re-appointment as General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Sanusi, who is the Danmasani Wajeke of Wamakko, had his five-year tenure renewed by the Annual General Meeting of the Federation in Benin City, the Edo State capital, on Tuesday.
In his Congratulations note, President of ANFSC, Abayomi Ogunjimi said that the renewal of Sanusi’s appointment was the only way forward and it is good for our Football.
“I know that it will surely happen and it did, the fact that the renewal of your five-year tenure came ahead as expected just because of your contribution and efficiency with which you have discharged your onerous responsibilities,” he stated.
Similarly, a four-year contract (with the first year being probationary) was approved for the Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme.
The Board also congratulated Messrs Ayobola Oyeyode and Lawrence Katken on being the first members of Staff in the 87-year history of the NFF to attain full directorship in the Federal Civil Service.
