The Nigerian beach soccer veteran and as well head coach of the Super Sand Eagles coach Amadu Ejo was out on a scouting spree in preparation for the 2019 beach soccer world cup.

Firstly, i want to show my gratitude to God and secondly to our sponsors the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF ) for putting everything in place for us to go the competition.
Though we arrived late, we hard to train twice before the commencement of the competition, which knew it was not going to be easy as such.
I told my boys our first match will be test run for us, while other matches will be an examination that promotes us to the next level .
why i succeeded in beating the host country Egypt who have had one year of solid training before the tournament , it was not quite easy for me because i stocked on the advice, given to my mentors late coach Amodu Shaibu and Festus Onigbinde in 2009 , they told me if i really want to defeat the Egyptians ,my boys should be the first to score immediately the match commences, which actually worked for us.
In preparation of for the world cup, i have started my search for players, i need players who have played in the continents before, not just the playing in our league alone.
I have seen the likes of Alimi Sikiru , Nana Bosso which i see great potentials in them, i need to compliment the older players like Abu Azeez and Emeka Ogbonna in the game with experienced players.
And if Junior Lokosa , is available as he was with us when we went to Seychelles the last time , he will definitely be in the team to increase our attacking bite along side the other players for the world cup .
The great difference between the beach Soccer and the normal soccer in the pitch is that the 36 minutes consisting of three period in beach soccer is more than the 90 minutes duration in the pitch .
The likes of JJ Okochia, Garba Lawal , Daniel Omokachi and other ex internationals can attest to that.
He concluded by saying beach soccer is not a game for any player, it is a game for skillful and energetic players.
