Michael Oluwaseyi Olaoye, the Assistant Coach of Nasarawa Amazons FC, expressed immense pride and satisfaction after one of the club’s standout players, Jumoke Alani, was named in the Super Falcons squad for the upcoming Women’s Olympic Football Tournament in France.

Coach Randy Waldrum announced the final list of players, and Alani’s inclusion is seen as a significant achievement for both the player and the club.

Speaking to Sports 247, Coach Olaoye commended Alani’s dedication and performance. “I’m not surprised because she’s been a very hard-working player since she joined us. She’s been consistent, even if you watch all our games she played, she’s been consistent. She’s a hard-working player and a very consistent player,” Olaoye remarked.

He pointed out that Alani’s selection is a well-deserved reward for her relentless effort on the field.

Olaoye also mentioned the positive impact of Alani’s call-up on Nasarawa Amazons FC. “It is a wake-up call for us to do more, to work hard and produce more superstars for the national team,” he said.
