Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala has received a lot of recoveries and got well soon messages after her injury in Nigeria’s Women Afcon opener loss against South Africa.
The Barcelona Femeni forward will miss the upcoming clash against Botswana later today as Randy Waldrum and his players will hope to bounce back from the first loss and look forward to their first win in the competition in Morroco.
She sustained a Grade 2 Medial Collateral Ligament strain in the game against South Africa after being involved in a tackle with a South African defender.
Although she shrugged it off and continued to play, she then was replaced by Francisca Ordega in the 81st minute.
