A member of the Kaduna Beach Volleyball Team, Joy Lawrence has expressed her joy in helping Kaduna to win the gold medal in the girls’ beach volleyball event at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba and she is proud of her team’s achievement, Sports 247 reports.
Team Kaduna defeated Team Anambra in the Beach Volleyball event on Tuesday to claim the gold medal in the event for a third consecutive National Youth Games.

In an exclusive chat with our correspondent, Joy Lawrence said how she felt like a winner after winning the gold medal.
“I feel proud of myself, I feel I am a winner. We are sure we will always win That’s why we always win ”
“This victory means a lot, the Kaduna people will be proud of us and we are proud of ourselves too”.
She spoke about her future in the game and hopes to represent Nigeria at the event as soon as possible.
“I want to be a very good beach player for Kaduna and represent Nigeria” Joy told our correspondent when quizzed about her prospects in the game.
The game is a collection of talented youths in the country under the age of 15 to participate in sports to develop new sports talents for the country.
