The organizers of the Asaba Super Cup have officially announced a partnership agreement with Prostar Sports. This was revealed to the media during the unveiling of the tournament’s official match ball at an event held in Asaba, Delta State.

The Prostar match ball, which meets FIFA-regulated international match standards, is also the official ball used in Nigeria’s top-flight league, the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).
For the first time in the tournament’s history, the Asaba Super Cup has introduced an official branded match ball for its competitive football program.
The 2025 edition of the Asaba Super Cup commenced today, Saturday, March 1st, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, with the opening match between Young Shall Grow FA and African Holding FC kicking off at 9 AM.
Defending champions Ughelli Rovers FC will aim to retain their title in an expanded competition that includes Nationwide League Division One sides, Delta Marines FC and Grassrunners FC.
The tournament will also feature 2024 Delta State League winners Winsome FC, alongside Ndame FA and ABC Starlet FA.
