In an interview with Sports247, Bolarinwa Michael expressed his excitement and shared his thoughts on the intense fight.
“I’m very happy to have won the gold medal. It was a tough match, but all the hard work and training paid off. This victory means a lot to me and the entire Lagos team.”
He continued, reflecting on the journey leading up to this moment, “We’ve all been training very hard for this competition, and it’s an honour to be able to bring home the gold.
