Abubakar Isah Sadauki of Team Kano has made a remarkable achievement by winning two gold medals in both the singles and doubles Fives events at the 8th National Youth Games in Asaba.
This is his second appearance at the National Youth Games, having won a silver medal last year.

Reflecting on his journey, Abubakar shared his joy and gratitude, saying, “I feel happy and I thank Almighty Allah that we came first this time around.
Last year, we came second. I am happy that out of many people who came for the competition, they were able to emerge first. It’s not a small feat for him. I am happy and comfortable, and I pray for the success of the games.”
When asked about his plans, Abubakar mentioned that he still has other games to play and expressed his appreciation for the support from the Kano government.
“I thank the Kano government for allowing us to represent the State in this event and we are happy to have won medals for the State.”
