Slovakian club AS Trencin, have completed the signing of 19 year old Ahmad Ghali, from Mahanaim FC Abuja, for an undisclosed fee.
The Slovakian club announced the signing of the Nigeria U20 star on their official TV, AS TV, where Ahmad Ghali revealed that his aspiration is to perfom better than his Nigerian predecesors who have played for the club.
He says; “I am very happy to be here, I am happy with the way the Club received me. I want to thank my agency that brought me here to sign for Trencin, I know the team have great players and I am ready to give my best both inside and outside the pitch.”
The Kano born attacker who once played for Dabo FC and MFM FC revealed that his targets is to play well and reach greater heights in football.
“I know my predecessors and compatriots who have played for AS Trencin like Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon, so I am going to try my best to maybe reach a great level to what they achieved.”
Ghali was a provisional member of the Nigeria team to the last FIFA U20 world cup in Poland, before he was dropped few days to the start of the tournament. The youngster given a second chance however proved to be the star man of the team as Flying Eagles finished second place at the All Africa Games in August.
As Trencin would present Ahmad Ghali an official jersey number in front of their home crowd ahead before the next match.
